Casa Chichipicas- Valle De Bravo, Mexico (Photo Gallery)
I just returned home from one of my favourite countries— Mexico! This was probably my 5th time visiting the country and my 6th, 7th.. and 8th time is near!
I adore Mexico so much— the food, the people, the culture! I always say that Mexico is close to enough to get to but far enough to experience something totally different.
Though this was at least my 5th time in Mexico, it was my first time in Valle de Bravo.
During our time here we checked into Casa Chichipicas.
Overview of Valle de Bravo, Mexico
Casa Chichipicas is located in the small town of Valle de Bravo which is 2.5hrs west of Mexico City. Valle de Bravo is one of Mexico’s “magical towns”.
One of it’s best features is that it is lined with well-preserved colonial buildings.
It also has the reputation of a mountain-town. Where the temperature is a little cooler and the view of the lakes and mountains are superb.

During our time in Valle de Bravo we made this little boutique hotel our home— Casa Chichipicas.
It is a small, intimate space with no more 10 rooms and with an attention to details.
It is ideal for romantic getaways, small family staycation or a group of friends looking to have a good time.

Just to side track a little bit, I want to think that Casa Chichipicas is a hidden gem. With just one year under their belt I believe it off to a great start.
