16 Serious Winter Cabin Goals

Posted In: Inspiration | Lifestyle

Let me be honest with you, I get weak in the knees every time it comes around to the winter season. I think about warm firesides, hot chocolates, the countryside and of course winter cabins.

I recently did a trip to Iceland which has somewhat inspired  me to do this post. Whilst road-tripping around the country, every few or so miles would have a winter cabin. I couldn’t help but to wanderlust a little. So, here am I, sharing some serious winter cabin goals from around the globe.

1. Switzerland

And in this very moment, we all wished we had super powers. If I could blink and be here in a matter of seconds… I wouldn’t think twice about it.

2.South Tyrol, Italy

An all-year round sort of cabin.

3. Farmnes, Dalvick, Iceland

Iceland and cabins are goals. If you have never been to Iceland, please add it to your list. Thank me later.

4.Lake Louise, Canada

I would personally like to write an open-letter to the owner…asking when can I move in.

5.Sweden

All cabin-shaped houses. This too feeds in on my winter cabin fever.

6.Pozza di Fassa, Italy

A little isolated, but, hey it’s in Italy. Why not!

7. Vik, Iceland

Iceland.. pure goals.

8. Glencoe, United Kingdom

Isolated cabin fever at it’s finest in the UK.

9. Branas, Sweden

Somewhere in Branas, Sweden locates dozens of cabin-looking houses. I’d take one of these please…and some hot chocolate…a fireside…and a warm blanket. Thank you.

10. Montgomery, United States

Ideal for winter,summer, fall & spring get-a-ways.

11. Cauterests, France

A place for two, who’s in?

11. Heiterwang, Austria

You don’t even have to ask me twice.

12. Reykjavik, Iceland

A cabin where you can stay to see the Northern Lights… Yes, please! I saw the Lights twice whilst I was in Iceland. Bucket list item!

13. Lake Louise, Canada

Winter weekend get-a-away. Whether it be a girls’ weekend, a family weekend get-a-way or a romantic splurge. You’re in for a win.

14. Oetz, Austria

I can only image when the changing of the leaves during fall and an all-white scenery during winter.

15. Location Unknown

Cabin goals and white everything. A weekend get-a-way anyone?

16. Steven’s Pass, Skykomish, United States

Probably not a full image of a cabin, but from what’s being shown you know this is the real deal.

Is anyone inspired to build their own yet? I know I am. Hopefully, next year or even this winter season I will be able to check myself into of these to get over my cabin fever.

Oh my goodness…the canadian and french ones though! I live in upstate NY and have seen some pretty nifty little cabins as well. A trip to iceland sounds amazing but oh so cold- you must really be a winter girl! *thegoodthingscomin.wordpress.com
