Hi Shea, I am sure I watched you on a TV feature here in Jamaica. I lift my hat off to you!!! I would love to travel to Cuba (have my pocket money in my purse already), then Panama and Netherlands. Somehow I keep ending up in the usual places (US & Canada) because that’s where family is, (free accommodation). Continue doing what you are doing, there is so much out there to experience!!

Shea, I must say I am inspired just reading your post. Just happen to come across it while looking for information on visa for the EU countries.
I’m from the parish next to yours St Catherine..
Keep on doing what you enjoy.

    One love Sista .

I just have to say that you are my spirit animal!!! I stumbled upon your blog posts today and can’t stop reading them. There is nothing more empowering than seeing a African American woman take the world by storm by experiencing it. I hope to be an avid traveler like you. I’ve only been to five countries to far and plan to travel to a lot more. Thanks for being an inspiration.

I just love your blog posts! I’ve learnt that travelling is (perhaps) my favourite hobby, because I really adore nature, plus meeting new places & people always gives me a fresh perspective on things. I’ve recently felt inspired enough to start a blog of my own and maybe I will in 2017. If I do, you’d have been one of my inspirations, so you can ✔#32 as goal accomplished. ☺All the best!

Hey Shea, came across your blog while researching Iceland, a place I really want to visit too. Like you, I am also a solo traveller with a Jamaican passport and from May Pen, Clarendon. Currently I am living in Iraq and because I hate the “visa hunting” process so much, I visit the places where the hassle is not so great. Turkey has always been my go to place but after reading a few of your blogs, I think I might just apply for a visa and go somewhere is Europe this time. Wish me luck… and thanks for the inspiration.

Hey hey (: Thank you for your message. I’m still struggling with this.. but ine of the keys things you should bear in mind is to always be consistent. Starting a blog is easy.. being consistent is the challenging part. Let me know if you have any more questions…

Love love love your blog. I can’t wait to start traveling! I’m finishing up my last to years of college for my BS and then I’m out. I found that we have a lot of things in common: 1. I’m not from JA, but my dad and his family are from there so I have some of the caribbean heritage in me and I love it! 2. I have a gap too, same size as yours, and I’m trying to embrace, mainly because braces are expensive and it’s going to be years before I can afford them lol.

As I said before, love your blog and can’t wait for new post!
